Help!

OK so here's the thing. I'm not posting this on my blog because there's a possibility that my dad reads that but I know for damn sure he doesn't know this blog exists. He retired this year and some people at his office asked me to do a charicature of him for a coffee book photo dealy. So I spent all night trying to get at least a hefty start on the values for the portrait... I'd ideally like to try sort of a tom harris sort of look (link is on my blog) but of course I'm not even close to that good and I'm also pretty sure he uses painter. But if anyone has any suggestions, feel free to fire away. I plan on fixing the cloud BG heavily and also this is not the final colour scheme... I want to keep it in warm autumn colours, but it won't be monochromatic. Any suggestions would be great.

Godspell - A Musical on this coming Saturday night !

Hi guys,

Here is a broadway musical event, GODSPELL, presented in Centennial Theatre on this coming Friday and Saturday night. The show starts at 8 pm. Stew German highly recommends it and he can't get enough of it. Therefore, he invites all of us to watch this broadway show with him on this Saturday night. If you would like to know more information about the event, you can check this link http://www.centennialtheatre.com/events.html .

If you need to get a ticket, just email or phone me as soon as possible. The show on Saturday night is the last one.

And thank to lovely Stew for providing the information.

Have a nice weekend and hope to see you all there !

Coming soon to a pyramid near you

Rather overdue really, a week late in fact, but here they are now, those sarcophagal cut-ups, the fools of the Nile, the pharaohs of the funny bone...

Expect similar treatment of Mugatu within the next two days. You have my permission to mock me if I don't come through.

Catching up

Just got past the latest deadline at Mercury, and now I've made some time to catch up with the rest of this enclave. So, even though Halloween's now three days behind us and we've all had our fill of ghosts, goblins, Frankenstein monsters and other upstanding citizen-creatures of the night, here's my Halloween drawing all the same. I've taken Gordon's lead and drawn a guy in a costume, but made my drawing a little more in the spirit of the holiday. See for yourself:

Yep, it's a werewolf in a Superman costume! Or maybe it's Superman in a werewolf costume. I haven't decided which. Anyway, that concludes my presentation for last week. So what's on the slate this week?
